Week 8 NFL Fantasy Football Lists - Fanduel picks also

Here we are in week 8, lots to talk about.
Denver rocked San Diego, and Atlanta picks off Detroit, oh wait... Detroit wins off a second chance field goal... holy crap.

Here's what I;m looking at for the rest of the week.

QBs
1 Aaron Rogers is the top pick (this should be a shoot out, but he's gonna cost you)
2 Russell Wilson is a solid play for the value.  Carolina has a bad D this year, so he should do well.
3 Carson Palmer is an awesome start today for the matchup, and the daily cost is excellent.
4 Kyle Orton is doing great since starting, and his price point is good as well for the possible points.
5 Teddy Bridgewater is by far the cheapest of all the QBs, and the upside for daily is massive.  TB has given up a lot of points to QBs this season so far.

RBs
1 This is where I put DeMarco Murray, if you have to ask, you shouldn't be playing Fantasy Football.
2 Matt Forte is money, but costs a lot.
3 Lamar Miller has a really good matchup, and he's been solid since taking the reigns in Miami.  Has an ok price point.
4 Ahmad Bradshaw has a good matchup, Price point is lower than it should be, so he's worth starting.
5 Mark Ingram.  good match up, low cost, lots of hurt runnings backs in NO.

WRs
1 Nelson/Cobb either one is good, price point is high, but so are results.
2 Dez Bryant will have it easy, but his price point is high... he should pull at least 25 points
3 Mike Wallace has an easy match up, price point is ok, and the JAC D is weak.
4 Michael Floyd should run the house today, price point is ok.
5 James Jones, low price point, steady production.

NFL Fantasy Football Week 7 2014 - Top 5 Picks for Weekly Play Leagues

These are my picks for week 7 in the NFL Weekly Play Leagues.  it's been a while since I've posted football stuff, but here ya go.  I hope my craziness helps you somehow.

QBs

1.  Andrew Luck (Cost is high, but he's playing balls out)
2.  Jay Cutler (Jay's play vs cost is middle of the road, and has a decent matchup)
3.  Cam Newton (Cost vs potential is excellent vs the weak Greenbay defense)
4.  Carson Palmer (Extremely low cost vs Oakland, he's healthy and throwing a lot)
5.  Brian Hoyer (Budget play.  Low cost and playing Jacksonville)

RBs

1.  DeMarco Murray (He's the shit, best RB in the league right now, high cost, highest potential, good matchup with the Giants)
2.  Matt Forte (High cost, high touches.  between attempts and receptions, he's always a good play)
3.  Brandon Oliver (Seems like SanDiego is giving him the rock now.  Good matchup this week)
4.  Ben Tate (He's back, he's healthy, he's playing jacksonville!)
5.  Fred Jackson (Value play.... he's playing the vikings... need I say more?)

WRs

1.  Jordy Nelson (Most looks in the league, great matchup, high cost)
2.  Mohamed Sanu (After last weeks game, it's apparent that he's the man with AJ out.)
3.  Brandon Cooks (With Jimmy Graham out, Cooks will get more looks... but.... yeah...but.)
4.  Rueben Randle (Value vs Opponent.... only thing stopping him... his team)
5.  Andre Holmes (Low cost play.... let's see if he is being zero'd in on)

What's new for 2014 for me and gaming

It's been a while since I've been here, and it's not by choice, my life took a weird turn in 2013, and I'm no longer in Illinois, I'm in Portland, OR.   Yup that's right, Portlandia!  It's really nice out here, rains a lot, but it's really nice.  The winter so far... really isn't a winter... it's just wet most days.  Lots of clouds and lots of crap drivers.

So what's on the gaming scene this year?  Wildstar, EverQuest Next and Elder Scrolls Online seem to be what most people are talking about.  TitanFall for the shooters and a few other MMOs are due to release.

I'm currently playing EverQuest Next Landmark, which is a sandbox game like Minecraft, but with better graphics.  It's in closed Alpha, and closed beta begins March 31st.  I try to stream it on Twitch, but I don't think my computer is good enough to keep up with it.

I also have started playing a little bit of Loadout, which is a free to play weapon design shooter, it's not bad and has a couple nice graphical things.

Hearthstone has also taken my attention every now and then, an online card game from Blizzard, with cards based around the World of Warcraft characters.

I will try and keep you better update in the future on my gaming... so back to it!

Laters all,
Jack
